Thiakry is a sweet millet couscous dish popular in West Africa. The wheat or millet granules are mixed with milk, sweetened condensed milk, or yogurt, as well as dried fruit such as raisins, desiccated coconut, and spices such as nutmeg. Cooking Instruction: 1. In a large sauce pan bring water to boil 2. Remove from heat and let stand for ten minutes. 3. To a large mixing bowl combine milk, sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and raisins. 4. Stir in thiakry and mix well to combine 5. If desired add more cinnamon and sugar to taste. 6. Serve warm or chilled.
